WILLIAM LAMAR BOLL born April 2, 1930 in Cambridge, MA, died October 18 at home in Mars Hill, NC. Korean War veteran served in the Submarine Service of the US Navy aboard the USS Tusk 1952-55. Graduated from the Cornell School of Hotel Administration in 1958. He was the manager and founding partner of several businesses, including Custom Data Systems in Stamford, and Donovan's of South Norwalk. Philanthropist, innovator, artist and entrepreneur, he will be greatly missed by his five children, Danny, Lianne, Lamar, Michael and Jay, five grandchildren, Emmeline, Nathaniel, David, Sarah and Joseph, and former wife, Connie. He was a passionate believer in helping the disadvantaged, through his personal involvement in multiple charities, including Friends of Children, Inc., which he founded with Connie. The family requests that memorial gifts in lieu of flowers be sent to Wellspring Trust (51 Pine Point Road, Rowayton, CT 06853) or Laurel House (1616 Washington Blvd., Stamford, CT 06902 or laurelhouse.net)
