Subject: Youngest Battle of Britain Ace Dies

The youngest of the Battle of Britain fighter aces dies age 95. That's quite an innings for the teenager who fought through that experience, There he sits in one photo (in the link below) with his hard-won Distinguished Flying Cross and other decorations talking to that great pretender Prince Charlie. There is Chuck wearing his make-believe uniform of Chief Air Marshal of the RAF and wearing a chest full of Mickey Mouse medals doled out to him by Mummy to make him feel more adequate. When he was in the RN he was only there for a dog watch. Don't know how he has the gall to sit alongside real hero veterans in that fanciful get-up. RIP to the youngest member of The Few.
