I had seen something like this on (I believe) Mythbusters. It's amazing what water under pressure can do

Yes, it was on Mythbusters. They tried to lift the car, but it was taking more water than the fire hydrants for the entire city could deliver. So they took the engine and transmission out of the car, and it lifted just fine. They let the car down gently though, and didn't break any of the fire equipment.
