Subject: Real?

This showed up on Facebook. Does anyone know the story behind this and if it's an actual submarine? The poster says he doesn't know.

I can not say if it is "real" but it looks to be a Sturgeon short hull and there look to be "doors" in the side like it was a museum boat.
This all just guessing.
