At random: The first submarine which actually sank another enemy vessel under combat conditions was the CSS HUNLEY built during the Civil War. The Union frigate HOUSATONIC on blockade station off Charleston, S. C. was the victim. The incident occurred on February 17, 1864.

Well, since most accidents happen at home, I guess I'm at risk 'cause I ain't going anywhere except to my Big Green Egg to smoke some ribs and make some elotes. Happy 4th everyone and stay safe. geno.

Do you grill the corn in the husk - or naked?

Don, I'm not really a TV show type cook. I like to think I get the job done and thankfully I've not killed anyone yet but have had more than a few compliments. I like to keep things simple. So I grill the corn naked then put them in tin foil boats that has butter in them. On top goes the sauce then the cheese. That way I can fold the sides of the boats to melt the cheese. Good for cleanup and good for me since I don't have to worry about too many things at once.

Sounds great George... loves me some good fresh corn.  White corn is especially sweet here in the northwest.
