That dear lady the Duchess of Lumpy Bumps just called to tell me that my lovely Connie McPhearson was stricken by something at the convention and was hospitalized.'
If any information as to cause, severity and/or prognosis circulates out there would one of you be so kind as to make regular posts here on Gentry's Magic Carpet Ride. '

I know that there have to be some technology loaded geeks out there hauling portable contraptions that can connect with Don's Board....and one of the folks knows how Connie Mac is doing...but appears to be too gahdam lazy to let those of us who love the dear lady know anything...It has been an entire day and the First Lady of 40 School Street has been rushed into dry dock for unexplained reasons and her public wants information.
We have checked with the Office of Naval Intelligence and they inform us, that (A) She is not pregnant (B) Did not hurt herself skydiving or bungi jumping (C) wasn't alligator wrestling (D) and wasn't competing for ALL AROUND COWBOY in the Winnepeg Rodeo...outside of that we out here in GentryLand don't know diddly-squat. I have not had a chance to call or post back until now...I ran into her this morning in the Vendor's Room and couldn't believe she was there, but it shouldn't have surprised me. I told her if she needed anything, just to give me a holler. She's one hell of a strong lady and I am glad she is with Georgiana...another strong
lady. I am just glad I could help a little. |

What an absolutely wonderful report...Did anyone call John Wynn? It's 4AM and I'll be damned if I'm going to wake the old curmudgeon....He probably owns a large caliber handgun and I know that he has a GPS capable of finding my house...because he's used the damn thing to do just that....And Lynn swings a mean rolling pin.
