At random: The USS Blenny SS 324, on her last patrol of WW II sank 63 vessels. One by torpedo and 62 by deck gunfire, demolition charges set by boarding parties or by burning. On several occasions shotguns were fired through the boats bottoms. These were all vessels under the 500 ton JANAC limit for tonnage sunk and not counted in the "official" totals or ships sunk. This is also a record for the most vessels ever sunk by a submarine on one patrol.

Sittin' here minding my own business, and Beeghly and his lovely bride pull up....He gets out of the passenger side...Tam's learning to drive...and he says, "Hey, If Gardner can steal your scotch, I can steal your beer....and I need some! Tam's been driving!" So he proceeds to drink my refrigeration dry! But at least he stayed out of the bedrooms and the liquor cabinet! Good think Tam is driving....

Was good to see them both again. Tam is keeping Doc young....if you can believe that "young" and "Doc" can exist in the same sentence!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From previous experience here, I happen to know that the license holder in the car, with a permit holder driving and sober, can in fact be charged with a DUI if they are above the legal limit. The supplier of the libations, having knowledge of the situation, can be charged as a contributor. Now I supplied the bail for the last case, my total involvement. I don't know if Doc G and I could raise enough to bail out two folks in TEXAS. You better be more careful, or more discreet. Either way, I trust you enjoyed the visit without having to lock the bedroom.

Good point....

"Now hear this... Beeghly, get back in the vehicle! Tam, advance and be recognized"

or

"Gardner, assume the position! Put your hands on the hood, spread your feet. You have a right to an attorney........"

I'm thinking that assuming the position in a kilt has inherant risks!
