Subject: Wars End - Sub Returns

With a long homeward bound pennant streaming aft, one of our subs crosses under the Golden Gate Bridge at the wars end in 1945.  Al Jolson sings "California Here I Come" - enjoy!

Yep, that's a good painting, the only thing missing is the homeward bound pennant.  The sub in the photo is not the Pampanito but it's still an interesting comparison... Thanks!
