QUIGLEY, William G., age 83 of Roswell, Ga., formerly of Pennsville, N.J., went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday morning, June 13, 2007. Bill was born October 12, 1923 in Camden, N.J. to the late Robert J. Quigley, Sr. and Virginia Stevenson Quigley. He was raised in Pennsville, N.J. and lived there until his move to Titusville, Fla. after retirement from DuPont Chambers Works in 1981 with 34 years of service. He moved to Roswell, Ga. in 2006. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1942 to 1945 aboard a submarine in Dutch Harbor, Alaska/Pearl Harbor, Hawaii during World War II. He was a charter member of St. Ambrose Lutheran Church. He also belonged to Pennsville American Legion, DuPont Vets, and Salem County SportsmenĀ¹s Club. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Marie Paulsen Quigley in 1967, and his second wife, Laura Vaughn Quigley in 2001. Bill is survived by his children, Bonnie Rhea of Deltona, Fla.; Edward Quigley (and his wife, Gloria) of Marietta, Ga.; and Audrey King (and her husband, Harry) of Middleburg, Fla.; his step-daughters, Virginia Russell (and her husband, Jim) of Carolina Shores, N.C.; Peggy Chapman (and her husband, Donald) of Pennsville, N.J.; Carol Davis (and her husband, Jim) of McAllen, Texas; and Diane McCracken (and her husband, Dennis) of Elgin, S.C.; his grandchildren, Jeremy and Jason Sammons and Jennifer Nimmo, John and Lisa Quigley, and Harry and Stephen King; his great-grandchildren, Joshua and Zachary Sammons and Breanna Nimmo. He also had 10 step-grandchildren, 18 step-great-grandchildren, and two step-great-great-grandchildren. Also, his siblings, Robert J. Quigley Jr. (and his wife, Mary) of Mantua, N.J.; Alice Buyarski (and her husband, Joe) of Pennsville, N.J.; and Patricia Adamson (and her husband, Norman) of Millsboro, Del. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Ambrose Lutheran Church, 443 South Broadway, Pennsville, N.J. Friends may call at the viewing held at LAUGHREY FUNERAL HOME, 1 North Broadway, Pennsville, N.J. from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday evening. Burial will be in Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, N.J. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations be made to St. Ambrose Lutheran Church Building Fund, 443 South Broadway, Pennsville, NJ 08070.
