At random: The first boat known to have been navigated under water was built in 1620 by a Dutchman, Cornelius Van Drebbel. Van Drebbel is said to have developed a chemical which would purify the air and allow the crew to stay submerged for extended periods.

I'm a real proud dad (as is my wife Millie as "mom" after watching our youngest of 5 (at 43) receive his Masters Degree on Friday.  Russ got his BA back when we all lived in Hawaii and after 12 years now has his MBA.  He's bought his home, vette and truck, and has a great golf handicap.  He shifted  his work to part time for two years just to get finished with his Masters requirements. "Atta Boy"!

Very proud indeed, congrats! Any idea who he is rooting for at the U.S. Opens final round?

OH RATS...I THOUGHT I "ELIMINATED" THAT PORTION OF THE PICTURE...well, we are proud of that one...it's new...WHAT A SUBJECT TO BE TALKING ABOUT...jeeez louise...it's one of them new fangle on the side handle types that doesn't take a year and a day to finish flushing either...tank fills up immediately...saves a lot on the
water bill.

Yes, it was the CLOCK I was trying to show...a Rontini special...bought it back in Jan. when he put it "on sale"...just knew "my John"...OH BROTHER, the "can"
metaphors are really flying, aren't they...would love it...and he does. AND WOULD YOU BELIEVE...he wants to put it in the upstairs "reading room" so he isn't
late for work in the AM!!!
