Shipmates,
I have a special request. Please cast your vote to send a friend
of mine to Washington D. C. I have known the family for over 10 years.
Ashley has a smile and attitude that will melt many a hard heart.
She has been a survivor. She is now in recovery from very serious
surgery which is explained more on the web page below.
Ashley Michaelson is a young (age 22) college student who recently
underwent surgery for complications from contracting E-coli when
she was 8 years old. She has been instrumental in an organization
called "Safe Tables" to raise public awareness for food safety.
Your online vote can help Ashley to win a spot to Washington D.C. to
be a representative for the "Save Tables E. Coli Organization"
On the below web page, there is a place to click and vote for 1 of 10 finalists.
If you click on #1, ASHLEY ! you will be able to read an entry written by her mother.
Near the bottom of page is a button "Submit your vote" to click on to vote.
