We had these metal pitchers that we used for milk and bug juice. We took a bag of cups and a pitcher of coffee and poured them on site. Milk and sugar went in the little squeeze bottles originally used for catsup, mustard and such. We didn't think it was that much of a concept but maybe we were ahead of our time; altho I did like the SDs solution.

Ron, What a memory....Those damn stainless steel pitchers. Ice cold milk...beads of condensation dribbling down the side....Animals yelling, "Goddammit, quit hoggin' the moo juice...pass it over here." Laughing lads in faded dungaree shirts and acid eaten bellbottom trou rubbing shoulders with their worthless butts planted on padded potato lockers...elbowing their way toward bowls of great mashed potatoes, steaming green beans and platters of steaks or pork chops...and yelling stuff that would have given your Aunt Martha a three alarm heart attack. "What the hell's for dessert Cookie?"....And the eternal common denominator was that stainless steel pitcher with that ice cold milk. In the words of Bob Hope...Ron, Thanks for the memories. DEX |
