At random: The first periscope used by the United States Navy was not built for a submarine. The ironclad monitor OSAGE utilized a periscope to discover a Confederate cavalry unit taking cover behind the high banks of the Red River in Arkansas.
Is anyone else have trouble connecting to Rontini?

Not sure if it related to the switch from houston.rr.com to comcast or not......

I'm not so sure I wanna "get connected" to Rontini, Dave!  But I've had no problems connecting to his web site, if that's what you are asking.  :-)

Are your sump pumps keeping up?

Everyone we know has trouble with comcast. Our kids are on it and every now and then we get "blacked out". We have to then go through our server to get it straightened out. A real pain! Good luck!!

As it turns out, a line was cut in Austin (the Kronicle article did not explain how it was cut ) and comcast customers were out of luck for three hours. I had limited connectivity....and no email, at least through their pop server so the Houston servers must have had some other routes open to the net......

Not news I wanted to hear about comcast, Dad's girl! We have roadrunner, but in July we will all be on comcast. There's a small chance no one else will have my email addy on comcast, but won't know for a while......What a pain in the butt!
