ANDERSON, Duane John, SCPO, USN, Ret., 67, entered into eternal rest on June 30, 2007. Duane was born in Sand Creek, WI., August 25, 1939, the son of John Anderson and Helen Hanson Anderson. He was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church. He also retired after 20 years of service with several phone companies. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association and the Submarine Veterans. Surviving are his wife Cintra Coons Anderson of Charleston, SC; brothers, Harlen Anderson and Glenn Anderson both of Sand Creek, WI; sisters, Janice Horn of Clarion, PA, Mavis Anderson of California, Carol Anderson of Sand Creek, WI, Norma Klimpke of WI, Sandra Anderson of Sand Creek, WI, and Corinne Koehler of Pueblo, CO. Relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Duane Anderson are invited to attend the memorial service of the former in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, Friday, July 6, 2007 at Eleven O'clock. Interment will be private. Friends may call at STUHR'S WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL Thursday from Five until Seven. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to MUSC Kidney Transplant Center, 18 Bee Street, P.O. Box 250450, Charleston, SC 29425 or to St. Matthews Lutheran Church, General Fund, 405 King Street, Charleston, SC 29401.
