At random: The self-propelled torpedo, which gets its name from the eel TORPEDO ELECTRICUS, was invented by Robert Whitehead in 1868, a number of years before a practical submarine was developed.

In all the years I spent wearing Dolphins on my chest, I never ever had some gorgeous gal stroking my Dolphins. I have had gals stroking something else of mine that was very very personal to me.............MY WALLET!!!

Just yesterday I was looking for my copy of this picture that was sent to me by Flapper when I was trying to correctly "decorate" Elmer's WWII uniform last fall. I did send an e-mail to Flapper, asking for another copy, because I can't find mine.

I do have a problem, though. When I printed out this one, the areas that were yellow, turned purple, and the white letters, "He Volunteered For" don't show up at all, so Flapper, if you're reading this, I still need your copy, because it printed out better. I printed this one with the same printer that I copied the first one with, so don't have any idea what the problem is.

You should see the poster below.
1. place your mouse arrow over the image and do a right-click
2. in the pop-up menu select 'Save image as...'
3. In the save box that results choose 'Desktop' as the save destination (that way you can easily find the image on your computer)
4. open the image from your desktop to print it, enlarge it, etc. etc.

If you don't see the image or following my instructions above doesn't work for you, send me a private message (PM button at the bottom left of this post) with your email address and I'll send you copy again.

John,

As I said over on Ron's...you turned a "crusty old broad" into a blathering idiot...that poster is one for the ages...and the song brings back a lot of memories!

Kudos to Frank for sending it to you...and more kudos to you for the song.

I wish I could read the "Courage that goes deep" one, and The script for "Third down - and ONE to go!," and "I want UP!;" the last two were from Ken Henry. The printing is 'way too small when I printed them out.

Thanks again,

Cora
