For anyone who hasn't been on "Through the Looking Glass" lately, there are some great updates...especially to the N-Boats page.
A great story from the radioman who was on the N-2 when they were returning from the Azores.

From your website I have learned much about submarine history that I wish that I known when I was on active duty.

It would be interesting to know the story behind Herman 'Jimmy Cheese' Reese, the sub base mascot, and if he went on to serve in the Navy.
