Nancy, Ron Durling goes by "bubblehead" on this bbs but there are none with the "2828" on the end.

He's listed in Military.com should be able to get his real name from his profile and then find him on one of the boards.

A Google search turned up: Thomas Hamkens using that "handle" on Military dot com.  There is some info in his bio on that site, looks like he served from about 1990 to 1996.
