Subject: Obit Messenger results for 07/15/07.

BERG, Neil Clifford, 57, of Powell, WY passed away on Friday July, 13, 2007, at the Parkview Convalescent Care in Billings, Mont. He was born in Sidney, Mont., on May 10, 1950, to Clifford and Darlene Jacobson Berg. Neil graduated from Sidney Senior High School in 1969. He attended Helena Vo-tech until joining the U.S. Navy and served his country from 1970-1975 aboard the nuclear submarine the USS Guardfish. After the service, Neil worked in the oil fields where he made many lifelong friends. The last years of employment were with Williston Basin Pipeline. Neil was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved to cook and visit with his friends and family. Survivors include his sons, Joshua Berg of Portland, Ore., Justis Berg of Casper, Wyo.; his parents, Clifford, and Darlene of Sidney; a sister, Helen Ann (Ed) Litzsinger of Billings; a brother, Brian (Linda) Berg of Billings; a niece, Leah (Andy) Weitz of Portland, and two nephews, Eric (Britney) Berg of Billings and Christopher Berg of Billings. He is preceded in death by his grandparents and his niece, Casey Berger. Cremation has taken place. A military memorial service and inurnment will be held at a later date in Sidney. Arrangements are by Cremation or Funeral Gallery.
