My Blk Lab, Jessie, is very fearful of fireworks, Thunder & Lightning, But, she likes Blue, POD, Doc Gardner and a few other boat sailors that have come by......go figure.

I had made a comment in reply to this much earlier, but it vanished somewhere....

Anyway, happy July 4th to you all!

I have had 2 memorable July 4TH's whilst in the US over my 10 visits to your wonderful nation.

1.  1985 on the island of Hawaii....spent it with a older woman, 16 years my senior,  Sigh, the memories....... *_*

2.  2010 with Fred, Ralph and Jim on the infamous 'Ride to the Northwest'.  Great memories on that one too but i will leave it up to you guys to work out which was better!  lol

Thank you Pedro. I wonder what I would be thinking if I was a British subject when Independence day rolled around.
I remember being in Weymouth on 22 Feb and the Brits thought more of George's birthday than we did.

Anyway. The Halfbeak's reunion kicks off today at the Holiday Inn in Manitowoc. It seems they have a full docket for the week.
We picked up a couple of the participants at the Green Bay airport and delivered them to Manitowoc with a stop for dinner in Denmark, WI and a short visit to the homestead here. A really lovely couple and Carol and I had a ball.
A couple NTINS thrown in for sure.
