Subject: Tuesday Obit

BEVER, Michael Dean, 64, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2017 with his wife, Maria, and his son, Andres, by his side, after a long battle with ALS at HSC in Hartford, CT. He graduated from The University of the State of New York in business. A US Naval Veteran, Michael was an electronic technician and reactor operator on a ballistic missile submarine stationed in Groton, CT. Mike was born Sept 2, 1952 in Danville, IL, and raised in Covington, IN. He worked as a Network Team Leader, senior IT specialist, Project Manager with IBM Global Services. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by his family. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, CT. Interment will be at 1pm on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at the Columbarium in the State Veterans Cemetery at Middletown, CT. Friends will be received from 4pm-8pm on Friday, July 7, 2017 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the ALS Association - CT Chapter, 4 Oxford Rd., Milford, CT 06460 or to the Hospital for Special Care, 500 Blue Hills Ave., Hartford, CT 06112.
