This is coming to you earlier than Sunday as my computer is on its way to going tits up with an overheating problem (probably a fan defect.) I will be getting a new machine (water-cooled would you believe?) next week but didn't want to miss my first contribution.

So here we go with the Sunday's Song jukebox. Obviously, they are songs that appeal to me. but they come in no order of preference or in any particular category of music. I can only hope that you might enjoy them too.

First up, is Tom Russell, an American singer/songwriter, who for a long time was largely unappreciated in the US, although that has now been reversed over the years. He worked in Europe for many years honing his craft in France and Norway. Tom is a storyteller whose songs of Americana, for want of a better tag, have been recorded by many top artists in the music industry,

Here he is singing "Blue Wing".

The guy is good.
I like this one because it talks about where I live and places I've been and know.
I haven't heard a lot of his songs but he could be another Townes Van Zandt.

Darn !!!! That was good.
I listened to a few of his other songs.
Maybe Tom Russel has a new fan.

Guess I'm still lost in the 60's and classic rock Walt. I was smart enough not to change the radio dial in the Goat Locker though.
