At our annual Family Christmas Party yesterday, my nephew was back from Iraq. (he was there near the front where the Iraqis were kicking ISIS out of Mosul)

He is an 82nd airborne combat engineer. He jumps from airplanes or repels from helicopters with a 70 pound pack on his back.

His girlfriend was with him and I asked what she did and she "Same thing as him, I am a paratrooper and airborne combat engineer also"

I congratulated them both.

My grand nephew was a Combat Engineer. He said "The job description is easy. We go until we come to a river. If there is a bridge we blow it up. If there is no bridge we build one."
