Okay, this weeks selection is another variation of "Streets of Laredo" a traditional American song that possibly has more distant roots. But this version has a different story line and a great singing voice delivering it. Only available in combined mono and stereo renditions, so apologies for that.

I like this song; I find with the internet that there were many country western singers who were not Americans. Irish, Scottish, Aussie, and now British. Interesting stuff.
I was motivated to look up Houston Wells:
