At random: The USS SKIPJACK was the first submarine designed from the keel up for top underwater performance using nuclear power. An earlier SKIPJACK was the first U.S. submarine to cross the Atlantic ocean under her own power (Newport, Rhode Island to Ponta Delgada, Azores, in 1917).

Two hits revisited and done once more by original artists. "Sloop John B" by Brian Wilson and Al Jardine. Considering he survived a major stroke, Brian sounds good and Al's voice sounds just the same after fifty years. The Tokens perfectly perform
"The Lion Sleeps Tonight" in their later years. The backing singer is a class act on her own.

Boy, I'll say.

Good stuff, all.

Excellent, two of the reasons I refuse to embrace some of this modern stuff that passes for music. Not a curse or death threat anywhere in there.

I'd never know Brian Wilson had a stroke based on his performance....Thanks Pedro, love the Sloop song. I remember buying that album when it came out. It was a long, long time ago...

Good choices. The Tokens and others did a PBS Doo Wop Special back in 2010. They all sounded great.

Good choices Pedro. The old boys have still got it.
