Remember that bayonet the ARPOC carried in 60's Boot Camp? The ones you could get in a military surplus store for about $10. They fit the Springfield and the Garand, 16 inch blade and wooden grips. Well I am figuring out what to ask if I decide to sell my gun collection, or to give the wife and kids an idea of what it is worth if I pass. Well the three I have show up on e-Bay and Guns Broker clocking in at $400 to $800 depending on manufacturer, date and condition. All mine are brand new. I don't think I paid more than $35 for any of them forty five years ago. Talk about sticker shock. I even remember each of our Farmalls, 460, Super M, H, C, A having one handing from the headlight supports for when you needed one while farming. So, if you have any stuff like this, use the internet to determine the value before you accidentally sell it to cheap at a garage sale.
