I was contacted by a woman whose father served on the Thresher SS 200 until the end of the war. He also sailed the USS Plunger SS 179 for about 9 months before the transfer to Thresher. She sent me several batches of photos from his War Diary. Edward DeBourbon died in a small airplane crash in 1997.
