Floyd Lewis ET1(SS) served on the USS STERLET (SS392) from 1956-57 - he will be missed by
all of his crewmates and on behalf of all of us we offer our Prayers and Strength to his wife Thelma,
his four sons and 3 daughters and multitudes of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He tried desparately to attend our 2005 reunion in Nashville even though needing a wheelchair
and with only one leg. Many missteps prevented him from coming and as they said God had
other plans. He now is resting on his "Eternal Patrol" and will be remembered by all of us at our
"Tolling of the Bellsz' ceremony on October 12th at our reunion in San Diego. I have signed his
guest book on behalf of the Association. Thanks again Pig for your posting and alerting us so
we can share it with our entire crew.
