| Subject: Fall 2007 Torsk Work Weekend Update
Only 1 week to go, and it's coming up fast!! It should be another great one. Please take a moment to read through this message as there is updated information included in it.
The next Torsk Work Weekend will be held October 5th to October 7th, 2007. It looks like another great turn out for this one. As of today we have almost 50 people confirmed. If you plan on attending and haven't let us know, please let us know as soon as you can so that we can get you on the confirmed list.
Also, please let us know what day you are arriving. There are several of you who as of today have not. This is extremely important in regards to planning for the meals. Last year we ran out of food at the Friday night dinner, and our hard-working cooks weren't able to eat. We don't want this to happen again.
As of today, the following people have confirmed attendance for the weekend:

If you are going to be needing airport and/or train station transportation please let us know. This too is extremely important. As of today, I've only hear from 1 person regarding airport transportation. I know at least 1 other person is planning on arriving by train, but we've not heard anything from him or anyone else regarding transportation. Last call for airport/train station transportation will be Sunday, September 30th. After that you will be on your own for getting to and from the boat.
We're still putting the final touches on the project list for the weekend, but some of the things that we are planning on include:
Cleaning/Mounting equipment retrieved from the Trout strip ships IC Work (including SP phones, 27MC, 1MC, 7MC, 31MC & Officer's Call Systems) Annual Maintenance Items (Lubrication & Cycling of WTDs, Valves, & Bulkhead Flappers) Cleaning Throughout the Boat As in the past, Chief Mike will be the master of the work list during the weekend.
Please remember to bring a pillow, sleeping bag and/or blanket, towel(s), etc with you.
I will be mailing out the berthing list early next week. As always, we have done our best to accommodate everyone's special requests. However, I can tell you up front that we were not able to honor all of them.
Everyone will be required to complete a release form for 2007 prior to working. We will have these available in the crew's mess.
We look forward to seeing you all there.
Thanks,
Bruce
