Subject: Well, that was fun...

.. the first power outage of the fall/winter. Wasn't too bad as I'm always prepared with lamps (I keep them full) and candles and portable radio and now my IPod. Almost finished reading my book by lamp light. Haven't done that in a few years. Power was out for about an hour and a half I guess.

Got to boot my windoze and Linux machine at the same time. Linux beat the MS machine by a few seconds and that is even with a login that the Win machine doesn't have.

My router arrived today so I have the two machine networked together and now I can be twice as inefficient .
