KILBY, Edward Earl, was born on August 6, 1926 and passed away on Monday, February 18, 2019. Edward was a resident of Port Orange, Florida at the time of passing. He joined the US Navy at age 17 and served in Submarine Service during WW II from which he was honorable discharged.


WILLARD, James William, passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2019. James was a resident of Washington, Virginia at the time of passing. He went to Virginia Tech for his teaching degree in Agriculture as well as his Masters' Degree. J.W. was a submariner and pilot in the U.S. Navy. Visitation will be at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Monday, February 25, 2019 from 12 Noon until 1:00 P.M. The funeral will follow at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Jonathan Hamman and Vicars Daniel and Sarah Hess officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Military Rites being conducted by the U.S. Navy Honor Guard and American Legion Post # 229 of Rural Retreat.
