At random: "No one has done more to prevent conflict - no one has made a greater sacrifice for the cause for Peace - than you, America's proud missile submarine family. You stand tall among our heroes of the Cold War.” -- Gen. Colin Powell

Garry (John) had his surgery yesterday. A little longer than expected, but outcome is good. The gall bladder was
basically not functioning and surgeon said it was a good thing they got it now...as it could have led to other problems
in the long run. But the best news is...he's being discharged today. So, on that note, I am making this post short...
because I want to get him home ASAP.

I want to thank everyone for their good wishes. But have a little "side note" for Ray Stone...even in my happiness,
I have you in my thoughts and prayers. I know God is watching over you...and He will be there when you need
Him the most.

Be well, All.

So glad everything went well, Patti.

Just you and I "toasting," Patti. Maybe your husband should stay away from beer for a while.

I'm so confused. Is his name John or Garry?

Hi Guys...he is home...snoozing in his favorite chair at the moment...a little sore, but very happy to be home.
He goes back to surgeon on Monday for check up on the surgery sites.

AND THANK YOU EVERYONE...

AND YES TO CORA...he is christened "John Garry"...the priest who baptized him said that "Garry" was not a
Christian name...hmmm...tell that to about ????? millions of Irishman...anyway, that's how he ended up with
John Garry, but family has always called him Garry...to distinguish him from the other family members who
lived with them that were named John.

Anyway, that's it from the home front for now.

Have to run...have to go have his prescriptions filled.

Love ya all!
