John, you better hope the COB dosen't notice that hanging unattended with the dial set on "8", unless that is a different version than the boats I rode. It was a hard and fast rule that when you hung up the phone, the dial was returned to "5 - Control Room" so if there was an emergeney all you had to do was turn the crank. Don't ask me what the guys in Control set theirs on... I wasn't allowed forward of the coffee pot.
