Yesterday, I spent some time sending 193 emails to all the former Tusk sailors I could find addresses for. Of course, 48 of those were returned as undeliverable. Today I received a reply that truly amazed me, so much I had to share:

Was delighed to receive you new Tusk page.
Since the Tusk and Cochino reunion in New London in 1999 I have often thought of the old girl and wondered if some one would do something to revive her memory,happy to see you did,keep up the good work.
I enjoyed the crew list,saw my od striker Kippen and was glad to see he is still around.
On that last cruise with the Cochino we were all lucky.
