MA2 Robin Greer is in receipt of written orders for demobilization from active duty in early December. She will be reporting back to her reserve unit at NAS JRB Carswell Field, Ft Worth before Christmas.There she will resume her normal drilling reservist status. It is anticipated that she will return to her old job with the Texas Attorney General's Office in Ft Worth unless a more favorable job offer should turn up. We are most pleased that she is completing her mobilization with the active forces honorably and is able to return to her family.

Another joyful Holiday Season is upon us!

Absolutely. Roy, you have every reason to be proud. Having had a daughter who served in uniform and has just retired after twenty, I can appreciate the contributions made by our female service women. Robin is a very special woman to have (A) survived the difficulties life has tossed her way and (B) to have improved herself by returning to school and creating two rewarding and highly productive careers. I join you in being damn proud of her. Congratulations...The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. DEX

Congratulations to Robin and to you and June as well, Roy.

You can be justifiably proud of your accomplishment.

Well, I have known Robin since she became involved in the Cavalla restoration project....and if you think she will accept less than perfection, you have another think coming....

I have know Robin since 1998 when we got together for the USS Cavalla Rally you couldn't ask for a more supportive volunteer.....she and her family spent many, many hours polishing brass, cleaning, and helping out the Cavalla.....

I have always had the utmost respect for "THE Brat"...

Love ya, Robin!

Roy,

I have to second Dave on Robin, I'm glad she'll be home, and do remember her polishing the GDU on the Cavalla, I just have a hard time believing it has been that long since the rally. I had a great time that night listening to all the sea stories.
I hope you and June are doing well and wish you a great Thanksgiving, and a wonderful Christmas.

Great News Roy;
Did you arrange for the Navy Band to be there to Welcome Her Home?
If I was travelling to Texas in the near future I could "pipe" her back aboard
Welcome Home Robin

Great to hear Roy. Still a few prayers left for her safe return, but the big sigh of relief is on the horizon.
