At random: Nautilus has long been a popular name for a submarine. Some of the more famous of these are Robert Fulton's NAUTILUS (1800), Jules Verne's fictional Nautilus, and the NAUTILUS of Sir Hubert Wilkins in which he attempted a voyage to the North Pole under the ice (1931). There have also been three U.S. submarines of that name, including the world's first nuclear powered submarine built by the Electric Boat Division.

Politics I understand (as one of the two), but what is that "and such" thing - what I gave up years ago? before Flomax and all those meds?  Is it what I see plastered all over the magazines, and (Seattle) billboards?  LOL - you are a VERY patient guy Mr. Gentry!!!

When thinking back to my youth (yeh, wayyyyy back then), I remember something that I learned along the path of enlightenment!  (submarine style liberty)...

You could always tell the REALLY popular bar by how much broken glass they were sweeping up the next morning!

Broken glass!

This triggered a memory that I had of a drunk ET1 who walked into a bar and upon seeing a rather large lady working behind the bar he loudly stated, "How are you and the two bar stools you are sitting on doing"?

Not appreciating his remark, she picked up one of those heavy old fashioned glass ashtrays and threw it at him like a Frisbee. It hit him squarely in the forehead and it took six stitches to close up the cut.
