At random: On August 17, 1958, the USS SKATE circumnavigated the globe in about fifty minutes. The SKATE was at a radius of about two miles from the North Pole at the time, and the distance traveled in the circumnavigation was about twelve miles.

a 1956 Kinescope of the Collins Kids doing a couple of songs.

By this time these "kids" were recording and making TV and Radio appearances. In a few years Lori would end up dating Ricky Nelson and appearing on the Adventures of Ozzie and Harriott and singing with Ricky. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=emZvrIoghrA
Sadly Lori passed a few years ago but Larry is still out there playing.
In this clip Larry is 11 and Lori is 14.
