Over the past three weeks laid up with influenza, I have been watching stuff on my laptop. I have noted reports of the deaths of three country singers, Kris Kristofferson, Emmie Lou Harris, and Willie Nelson. Trying to gain some confirmation It appears that these claims are fictitious. Why anyone would send such despicable untrue information on the internet is beyond my comprehension, but rest assured these morons will eventually get their own comeuppance.

I do understand that Kris Kristofferson is in a bad way with Alzheimer’s Disease and things are not looking very promising for him. So let us concentrate on him this week with two songs that show his lady-killer side and his more religious feelings in later life. Ever the prolific writer and singer of great songs.
