Tony Bennett passed away this week at the grand old age of 96. Much admired by Sinatra to Lady
Ga--Ga in his long career with his laid-back style he was the original Mr. Cool long before that name became a popular title for later celebrities in show business. In later years his aquiline features and grey hair made me think of an ancient Roman Senator in his patrician appearance from his Italian roots. RIP Tony and thank you for the music; the world will be a sorrier place without you.
