MUELLER One of the founding members of The After Battery, David Allen “No Neck” Mueller TMC(SS) passed away early this morning, September 28, 2023.
“Neck” would always Act like a Submarine Sailor. Rest your oars, Shipmate, we have the watch.

MARKLE John J. Markle, ll, 56, of New Oxford, passed Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at his home. He was the husband of Karen L. (Sipe) Markle, his wife of 29 years. John was born January 18, 1967, in Hanover, the son of John J. Markle, of McSherrystown and the late Betty A. (Becker) Markle.  John was a 1985 graduate of New Oxford High School, and served in the U.S. Navy on a submarine. John worked for Elsner Engineering Works, in Hanover, for over 26 years, and was a member of the New Oxford Social and Athletic Club. In addition to his wife Karen and his father John, John is survived by a daughter, Dagney M. Markle of Richland, WA, two sisters, Wendy O’Brien and her husband John of Hanover and Melissa Utz and her husband Dan of Littlestown, a brother, Matthew Markle and his wife Julie of Hanover, his father-in-law, Richard C. Sipe and his wife Nancy (Millar) of New Oxford, a brother-in-law, Steven Sipe, of New Oxford, and two nephews, Andrew Sipe of New Oxford and Benjamin Sipe of Hanover. 
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023, from 6 to 8 PM at United Hook and Ladder 33, 21 N. Bolton St., New Oxford. Memorial contributions may be made to United Hook and Ladder 33. Feiser Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements. Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
