This is a 109 year old sailboat being restored in Sequim, Washington.
This video was made 4 years ago. Boat is about complete now and beautiful.

The Tally Ho is no longer in Sequim, but has been moved to a boat yard in Port Townsend. The hull is complete, the mast has been stepped, the bow sprit is in place and most of the rigging is done but still needs tuning, the interior mostly installed. He's now 4 years into the build and the boat is I would say, 95% complete.

The parrot is named Pancho, but they found out it's a female. Belongs to the owner of the property in Sequim.

Jon, so right. Been following this project from the start.
Having done boat repair for a living for 7 years I really appreciate all the work and steps needed to do this restoration.
I have been to Port Townsend many times and almost moved there. I know exactly where the boat yard and shop are.
Glad you enjoyed the video.

The Tally Ho is about 50 yards from my boat in Boathaven Boat Yard.  She's outside now so much easier to watch progress being made.  In a fairly recent episode, rigger Ian Weedman talked about the dyneema rigging used on Tally Ho - he is the guy that just put my rig back on - small world!

I envy you your proximity to Tally Ho. If I lived in PT I'd have been there daily. Of course I've been all through the boat yard over the years. One of my most fav places to hang out. It's the old sailor in me I guess.
