but someone suggested that their Wal*Mart had a bin that held all the segments of that series.

Well, since I can't remember how the post started, I can't find it now.

My daughter-in-law (also daughter) are the Wal*Mart shoppers in the family. Because I can't walk very far, if I shop at Wal*Mart, I have to park really close to the building. Have you ever tried to find a parking spot close to Wal*Mart? Dang near impossible.

Will whoever posted about the sale at Wal*Mart please post again? So I can tell my daughter-in-law where to look tomorrow.

Thanks,

Cora

Is there a way to completely delete a post that's put up by mistake? Don?

Anyway, I scrolled back and discovered that it was Steamboat that posted that he got the entire 26 episode series at Wal*Mart for $5.00, so will check that out tomorrow.

Thanks, Mr. Fulton.

a smiley face for now. If our Wal*Mart doesn't have it, this smiley face may turn into a frowny face tomorrow.

If your daughter doesn't find it at your Wally-World, I will pick one up for you.

Not on this BBS, Cora. You can request that the webmaster do so, but all you can do after the fact is to use the 'Edit' function and delete the contents ... the post will remain, but it will be just a blank post.
On Rontini's board There is button marked as indicated below and 'Delete Post' is one of the options, but only for a limited time (15 minutes or something like that) and beyond that it's "Sorry Charlie!"

I saw the "Victory at Sea" set at Best Buy last night. I think it was like $15.

I opted to buy "Das Boot" extra special, extra long edition for $10.

I went to Wally World this morning. In their Bargain Bin in the "home entertainment" section, I found 3 copies of Victory at Sea, (3 DVD's 26 episodes) and a 2-DVD copy of Pearl Harbor.

Bought them all. Cost me a total of $20 +tax. The spares are already earmarked, but I'll go back and do more digging tomorrow. They had 3 large 4'X4' bins, 2' deep. I didn't dig all that deep. They even had a 20 movie collection of John Wayne's. Didn't buy that one.
