Subject: Now I know . . .

. . . what the term "keel-hauling" means. It was described rather graphically when I watched "Mutiny on the Bounty" a couple nights ago.

The poor sailor (I think) was done in by a shark. That wasn't too clear to me. When Captain Bligh said, "Bring him back aboard," another man answered, "There isn't enough left of him to bring aboard."

I didn't sleep too well that night.

Was this the initiation of "waterboarding?"
