At random: "Again I ask, who really are our Hero’s? They are the men who have, since the first day of our great country, left their families and friends and gone to war asking for nothing and giving all." -- Gary Walker

Subject: Is the # 1 submarine going to be -

- the one that sank the most tonnage? How do you 'spose they're going to be rated?

Of course, you'all know which one I vote for!

STERLET - Yeah!!!

She had a decent showing during WWII (can't remember Slim's words in one of the last letters he wrote before coming home) It had the best looking crew - of course. And the really really best radioman in the whole United States Navy!!

And you know I'm totally unbiased. Just like I have the best kids; grandkids; and best great grandkids. Now, I bet you all though that you did. Sorry.

Have I ever mentioned that of my 10 descendants, 5 of them are true red-heads. Gotta be some kind of record.

But, (as my brother was fond of saying), I digress.

Ahh - no competition at all.

Let's drink to that!

Cora

P.S. Happy Easter.
