Subject: Binnacle List

With all this new found time on my hands I took a look at the "Binnacle List" and noticed it had not been updated for quite some time. After relieving the watch from Cowboy, who originated it, we had a fairly active program of sending cards to shipmates in distress and for some reason it seems to have died out.
I still have the original list of "anonymous" participants who wanted to be involved and would be more than happy to revive the program if there is sufficient interest. I've received numerous "Get Well" cards and I can attest that they really do help. Some of the ones I've received from you guys have been the best at keeping me on an up bubble and they are greatly appreciated. Your creativity never ceases to amaze and entertain me.
So, if there is interest in reviving the "Binnacle List" program of sending Get Well Cards to shipmates just let me know via e-mail and I will re-build the list of volunteers. I think I can con Pargo Bill in to helping out again by keeping the web listing current.
If you want information on how the program works drop me a line.

Does anyone remember the New Christy Minstrels song ( I think from Advance to the Rear) called the Invalids?

Holler if you need a refresher!
