Subject: LT DINOLA/QMC(SS) AARON GUNTER EP 4/10/63

It deserves a special post with their names as they both partnered up to served on the Thresher being good friends from the USS STERLET (SS392). As it is said about us if one of us goes down
we all go down and thus they did.

The USS STERLET (SS392) Association wants to remember them here and offer our prayers to
their shipmates families that are echoed by the Sterlet families - tomorrow is our 108th Anniversary
and we know that all will remember all those that have served and been lost.

Our shipmates in 1956-57 Lt Mike Donola and QMC(SS) Aaron "Jackie" Gunter left us to serve
together as best friends and shipmates on the USS THRESHER SSN593.

We are truly "A Last Man Standing Organization" and to these peace time lost shipmates goes the
same tribute as we have give our WWII shipmates we are still searching for.

Attention on Deck the crew of the USS THRESHER SSN593 has assumed the watch.
