I met with the cancer Dr. and he said I would need 4 months of chemo treatments. Yesterday I went to hospital to have the large port installed in my chest so they can feed me all those drugs (Camptosar - Erbitux - 5 Fu (pump). 3 times a week starting Tuesday, one long and two short visits. After 4 months another CatScan. Thanks Doc Gardner for your card. Will keep you advised is I can after Tuesday ( I get double dose of the drugs.)

Hey Neil,
A good friend and Shipmate of mine was diagnosed with rectal cancer a while back. After surgery, chemo and radiation his MRI this past week showed the cancer gone. More tests are being done to be sure.
My reason for passing this on to you is to let you know--treatment and prayer works. Hang in there, Shipmate, we are in your corner hoping and praying.

Our prayers are with you. Once you win this battle we will have to find a special feast to post so you can celebrate.

I'm speechless but Ralph said everything that I was thinking. Believe it! Prayer works. I just hope and pray that your Chemo therapy is as easy on you as possible. I think mine was a payback for being such an ass in my younger days. From this day forty your life has changed and for the better I hope as in my case. I treat my situation actually as a God send to slow my butt down enough to think things clearly thru before engaging my alligator mouth and my rowboat ass. A blessing in damn mind just went blank. Can't even remember where I was going with all this.
Hang in there Neil. You are in our prayer chain!
