At random: In their history, submarines were called by many names such as 'eel boats', 'plunging boats', 'devil divers', and 'pig boats'. Technically, and by size, the submarine is a ship, but it has been called a boat since its earliest days, and the term is steeped in tradition. Submariners almost invariably call their ships 'boats".

Yes....It gets better when this Qualified Quack and his cute bride pull off of I-28 and drive behind the Ralphs Toyota Dealership billboard located seven miles from the location of the first photo....hop in the backseat and Trixie rings the rearview mirror with a direct panty toss. DEX

You'se old goats all missed the fact that the young lady had no tan lines on her back.....WHOA......
No, it doesn't get any better than that. Except if she's standing on the pier and you have the
first watch after the lines go over........then, it takes some careful planning.........
As I recall, when we returned from a WestPac deployment
the single guys traded watch assignments so the married guys could go home with momma.
Anyone do that now?????

Yeah, I noted the contrast between the (at least) topless tanning and the pasty mole-man complexion of our quack.

What I really liked was the 'rode hard, put away wet' look of Topeka's sail in the background, complete with rust and some paint hanging off in shreds. Looks like she's really 'been there, done that'. Either that, or it was just piss-poor prep work the last time they painted the sail ... FLASH TRAFFIC! DECK APES SKATE ON CHIPPING AND WIRE BRUSHING PRIOR TO DEPLOYMENT. ACCUSED OF HURRY-UP JOB PRIOR TO LAST HOME PORT LIBERTY!

Geez Smiley; can't you tell that he is practicing the magical art of ventriquolism and describing what the Plan of the Day is?
I think Dex got closest to the truth; and that may be a first.
And as for first over' I can guarantee you it was never me. Too much "nooklear" paper work to do before the "glow in the dark" types were done "shutting it down". Besides, we all flew back from Holy Loch together so it didn't matter anyway.

Yeah, us Smoke boat docs were such great lovers, I guess thats why I kept being late for quarters or missing ships movement and was almost always restricted..

It does not get any better. I can still remember and feel those days from long ago.
