The constable must have been new on the job. Alice Springs in in the Outback about 1/2 way between the East Coast and West Coast. It's one of those places where "you can't get there from here".

You're right--"almost". :~))) Ayers Rock was a really neat place. Sharon and Sierra still tease me for the way I got excited about the sunrise and sunset with the changing colors of the "rock", Uluru. Some great memories and I'm glad we all saw it together.
