Hey for those of you that can attend a meeting at the drop of a hat you are all invited to the South Sound Base meeting tomorrow night we are having a guest speaker.  

South Sound Base of USSVI is having a guest speaker on June 12 at our Monthly meeting this Gentleman was/is a member of Doolittle's Raid on Tokyo and was the Flight Engineer on the 15th B-24 launch off the carrier's deck during that famous raid

Here are directions everyone is invited to attend will start ~ 7PM (Social gathering from 1830 please come join us)

Meetings are held the Second Thursday of the month
at Tacoma  VFW Post 969 at 
3510 E. McKinley Ave. Tacoma, WA 98404
Sign on building at the corner

Social Time at 1830 hours  (6:30pm)
Meetings start at 1900 hours (7pm)

From I-5 take 7 south to exit east on 38th (No choice 7 ends right there)  < 1/4 mile on 38th

Take a left at light on McKinley (school on one side, fire house on the other), about 5 blocks north (towards Tacoma),
one block past Police station, VFW building (Mural on side of Building) on NW corner of intersection (parking in rear or on street)
