Good to hear that the old Beefalo is still steaming around.
I joined her in 1985 at Pearl Harbor, made her first 2 WestPacs. Only boat I rode that wasn't older than me at the time.
Had lots of fun with Midshipman David Robinson, his roomate, and the Sports Illustrated gang that followed them around for the 1st week of their cruise with us. As I recall, the COB issued them both hardhats and shinguards when they first came aboard. |
